I want to start a thread about SF romance.  Wen Spencer.  Linnea Sinclair.  Delia Marshal Turner.  Sharon Shinn.  Robin Owens. Who are you reading?  Who are your faves?

Okay, why in Paranormal rather than in SF?  Because here is where the books I read show up.  SF threads have way to many guys with guns.

Space and romance are my favorites! Linnea Sinclair and Robin D Owens are on my keeper shelf. I just got done with Heart Fate and it was exellent. Now if the new Linnea Sinclair  would move a little faster on the WL I'd be very happy! I haven't read any of the others you have listed what are they like?

She wrote two books back in 1998.  Both about young women coming of age.  The two books have the same world.  Not really romance.  But wonderful.  Definitely SF for chicks.  Really wish she'd write more.

Wen Spencer wrote Tinker and Wolf Who Rules.  Elves,  space,  female mechanic, and  romance.  Wonderful.  Like her other books too.

Sharon Shinn wrote the Archangel series of books.  Genetically created angels on another world who sing to control the weather.

And there is Steve Miller and Sharon Lee's Laid books.  Are being reissued this spring.  Whoo hoo.

i like Linnea Sinclair and Robin D. Owens, and i really like Wen Spencer.

Wen Spencer has the Ukiah Oregon series, which is not in space but is SF with a little romance, and the Tinker series, which has elves, space, and Pittsburgh.  ;)  i really enjoyed the standalone fantasy novel by her as well - A Brother's Price.

i haven't read Delia Marshal Turner or Sharon Shinn, though Sharon Shinn should probably already by on my list to try sometime.

ETA: LOVE the Liaden novels by Steve Miller and Sharon Lee.

Doris Egan's Ivory series.

Ann Aguirre

The Shomi series?  (Eve Kenin is on my TBR)

And more on the romance side -  Susan Grant and Jayne Castle/Krentz.

I love Linnea Sinclair, have two of hers sitting on my TBR pile. Haven't read any Robin Owens...is there one in particular I should start with or are they all good?

Of course most of those would be WLed!  I've actually got a few of the Shomi's on my TBR as well. I'm starting Countdown (Shomi) by
Michelle Maddox next.

Christina- Robin D Owens has 2 series going Celta's Heartmates and The Summoning series . I've read all of the Heartmates and they were all great, you should start with the first one though HeartMate (Celta's HeartMates, Bk 1) . I have the others wishlisted.( warning these are very slow moving on the wl)

Linnea Sinclair's An Accidental Goddess is one of my favorites!

Robin Owens' Heart books are being reissues as Mass Market PB.  Those usually move faster than the trade PBs.

My favorites are Ann Aguirre, Patti O'Shea, and of course Linnea Sinclair! They are all keeper authors for me!

I just got Wanderlust, Ann Aguirre's second book and I can't wait to read it, although if it's anything like her first one, I better set aside some serious time to read, because I won't want to put it down!

Ann Aguire's books don't seem to be listed listed as romance, are they supposed to be?
