This is an adaption of the 80s movie comedy "Spaceballs." This movie was a spoof of science fiction on television and on the big screen. This novelization is by Jovial Bob Stine, who would become known as R.L. Stine, the author of so many teen horror books. The screenplay that this novel is based on was written by Mel Brooks and several others. The book is a nice keepsake if you liked the movie. I noticed they cut out all the 'questionable' material and so the book is pretty G rated. I really enjoyed both book and movie as a kid, and this is a pretty good book, which I recommend whether you have seen the movie or not.
