I read this when I was trying to learn about various teachings on what it means to speak in tongues. I remember it being helpful at the time.

This is the BEST book on the validity and importance of receiving the Baptism in the Holy Spirit I've ever read - and in down-to-earth testimonial form. The author encourages and explains to the reader how to receive this important gift according to the scriptural evidence. He brings all the applicable verses together so that any hungry Christain reader can be a receiver of this same gift and blessing that was first given on the day of Pentecost 2000+ years ago. The fact that the author was initially a sincere DOUBTER makes his personal experience and investigation all the more believable. The book is truly a classic and continues to be used by God to break down walls of division and misunderstanding among different all denominations. All Christians are candidates to receive this Baptism and in receiving it are empowered in a new dimension in their walk with God.
