Twelve stories by authors who are currently very popular, including Dave Eggers (Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius), Helen Fielding (Bridget Jones's Diary), Zadie Smith (White Teeth), and Nick Hornby (High Fidelity, Fever Pitch, About A Boy). The style and feel of these authors is different from that of the "old masters," which makes these stories feel fresh and accessible.
