I had a request to mail two books to the same person in Colorado on September 20th.............accept the request, packed them up and off to the post office they went that same day (by noon as I was out doing my errands).

Imagine my suprise when yesterday morning, I get a message from the requestor asking if I had mailed the books yet because she surely thought & expected them to arrive by now.

Thats only 5 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sometimes media mail can surprise you and travel at an unbelievable speed from "here to there"...but it should never be expected to work out that way.

Could be a new member who doesn't understand Media Mail. If it weren't for the fact that it was two books, I'd also think it could be that you're the second sender and the request had rolled over to you, so he'd really been waiting 11 days -- but that's pretty unlikely with a 2 book request.

I did send them a nice reply....noting when I shipped the books and that they went media mail and could take a while to get there.  Hopefully that will be ok with them.
