My son is an avid fan of the I Spy collection. We have several of these books and when I saw this boxset, I knew I had to try it. This is a boxset including 12 paperbacks and a set of flashcards. Each of the books concentrates on 2 letters of the alphabet. For example, the first book is A & B, the second C & D, and so forth. The letter that they are emphasizing is in a different color so that it sticks out on the page. As you or your child says the word, they look on the other page to find the picture so it is working on item recognition and phonics. I think that the idea of doing this as a set is genius. Thumbs up. I definitely recommend it especially if your little one is learning or getting ready to learn phonics and how to read.
