One of the most popular saints of the Catholic church and one of my favorites. She is known as the "Saint of the Impossible" because of her amazing answers to prayer as well as the remarkable events of her own life.

She was a virtuous wife, married to a cruel husband, bore him two sons. She also experienced widowhood after he was murdered and also experienced the loss of her sons, the the most heartbreaking loss a parent can experience. She managed later in life to join the Augustinian convent and experienced a miraculous non-healing wound on her forehead.

Her feast day is May 22nd and the book also states miracles that happened through her intercession. An interesting read!
