The premise is to make a stack of approximately block-sized pieces of fabric, cut through the entire stack in unusual ways, shuffle the resulting pieces so that each piece in a block is a different fabric, sew them back together, and then trim the edges so it's block shaped again. Sew the blocks together, and voila!
The problem is that the resulting blocks are exceedingly simplistic, and are only visually appealing because of the fabric choices. The only advice for selecting fabrics is to lay them out and stand back 10 feet to make sure they go together.

I absolutely love this quilting book! It is so quick and easy and more than that...FUN! You cut out block in the colors you want in your quilt then shuffle the stacks and sew them back together! SUCH an easy and neat way to quilt! If you are any kind of quilter it will get your creative juices flowing! One of my favorites! It has made several of my favorite quilts!
