Fans of Patrick O'Brien's Aubrey/Maturin novels will enjoy Kent's Bolitho series.

This series is not as good as Patrick O'Brian's Jack Aubrey adventures. It is about the same general time in the Royal Navy and has much of the same scenes and characters. If you enjoyed O'Brian, you'll probably enjoy Kent.
