This was the first science fiction book I read, when I was all of 9 years old. Rereading it, it's kind of dated, a little silly, and I couldn't put it down until I finished it AGAIN! This was the book that made me the sci-fi geek I am, and I'm delighted to have it in my library all these many years later! (54 to be exact!)
