I have heard of this author..Lynn Andrews. Yet, this is my first book to read. Other books are Jaguar woman and medicine woman....I plan on reading them too.
Spiritual journey, native American wisdom, a love of horses, a general good read. I love the Illustrations too...beautiful artwork by David Tamura

"You are invited to walk with Lynn Andrews into the wilderness, to seek selfhood with her in the depths of your own heart, and to soar with her on a magic white horse on a reinbow to the stars...
In Star Woman, Lynn Andrews again joins two remarkable American Indian medicine women, Agnes Whistling Elk and Ruby Plenty Chiefs, to further her quest for ancient knowledge and serve as the bridge between two different worlds, the primal mind and the white consciousness. In this book, her quest leads her into the most frightening and difficult place of all...the dark side of her own spirit, where she must confront and conquer her secret weaknesses and deepest fears....
