2008 is gone, but won't be long forgotten. My husband I separated. My daughter and I moved out of our home and into an apartment. We rescued a small puppy. I lost 30 pounds. And, in December I lost my job! 2008 was my year of downsizing (with the exception of my no-longer-small puppy who grew to a whopping 56 pounds).

2009 begins a new journey--a walk in Faith! Next Monday I will go back to college; and, hopefully by this time next year, I will be well on my way to beginning the nursing program for RN.

So, for 2009 I resolve...

— to be happy than ever--enjoying and learning from each moment of each day
— to continue becoming healthier--losing 15-20 more pounds and exercising (walking my dog a lot)
— to move on with my life--knowing that there is one to be found after divorce
— to make GREAT grades--proving to myself and my daughter that it can be done and I CAN DO IT!
— to continue my walk with the Lord--growing closer to Him with each passing day.
