3rd book in an excellent triogy-Marcus's story.Love, passion, loyalty, betrayal and forgiveness are all handled very well in this book. Madeline always weaves her story to blend with historical events which makes the story that much more enjoyable.

I really enjoyed this book - I read it in two sittings. For me, it was enjoyable as I love history and a good romance and I felt this had both.

Marcus and Nesta were wonderful and two of my favorites in a long line of books I've read. They were both strong but, as necessary, in private both very loving.

I recommend this!
