A very interesting read. Even though the novel was bit long, it had quite a different approach from other interracial novels. This novel also had quite a few unexpected twists and turns, which kept me turning the pages, wondering what would happen next. It wasn't the best interracial romance I've ever read, but unexpectedly I was caught up in it and found myself hoping that despite everything, Colette and Jean Luc would find a way to make things work. Despite it being long and the love scenes being far and few between the pages, and having quite a few typos, this novel was a decent read.
