Good read. I read it back when I was thinking of having gastric bypass surgery. I went on to have the surgery, but not because of the book. The book was just part of my research.

Written in a conversational method. Easy to read and understand. A good choice for anyone considering weight loss surgery. Carnie takes you through her own personal journey without sugar-coating anything. She shares the good, the bad, and the ugly. This book discusses both the emotional and physical symptoms of obesity and weight loss surgery.
