Although Dorsey is compared to Carl Hiassen and Elmore Leonard by a few professional reviewers, I found him to be a little hard to follow and thought he spends a lot of time intoducing new characters instead of getting on with the story. Lots of killings in amusing ways, nothing gory or gross but not as funny as I hoped.

Had a hard time rating this book. It was very difficult to keep track of all the characters that Dorsey is continuously introducing. Put it down many times with no clue as to what was going on but as a person that must finish what I start I got three quarters of the way through the book and it all clicked into place allowing me to actually enjoy the ending. Would I read another one of his books? I don't think so only because the writing style frustrated me rather than it being bad.
