This book shows the basics and fundamentals of preserving. I wonder if the publisher will update it since more and more people are starting to preserve now.

THis is a fantastic all in one book with instructions on how to do everything on vegetables and fruits from harvesting, freezing, canning, drying, underground storage, pickles relishesm jams, jellies, fruit butters, juicing, and lots of recipes.
Dairy tells how to make butter, semi hard cheese, soft cheese, yogurt, storing eggs, homemade ice cream and lots of recipes.
Meats and fish, tells how to butcher, make sausage, rendering lard, dressing poultry, freezing meat, canning meat, during and smoking, preparing and storing fihs, and lots of recipes.
It even has a section on nuts seeds and grains, harvesting hulling, drying, cracking, curing, freezing, canning, roasting and storing, including sunflower seeds.
