This interesting story is loosely based on the author's great grandfather, who was a marble carver in Tuscany, Italy. After immigrating to America, he raises a family and hones his carving skills to build the great monuments and buildings we treasure today. The story dramatically covers a century in the lives of this Italian-American family.

A dramatic 3 act tale spanning a century in the life of a vigorous Italian family who came to America and settled in Indiana, working in the stone mills. With the passion of opera, this deeply affecting portrayal reveals the hopes and heartaches of so many who made the perilous voyage into the unknown. Their courageous spirit calls to us still, to bravely make our own voyages.
