Anyone read it? Honestly, I've never really been a big fan of hers but one day, I stumbled across her tv show, Tori and Dean: Inn Love and got hooked (I know, I'm embarrassed to admit it, but it happened). The show sheds a whole different light on her and now I want to read her book. So, I'm looking for some reviews. Anyone, anyone?? |

You're not the only one! I watched the show and loved it, so I had to read the book and I really liked it. She kinda pulls the poor little rich girl card, but I thought it was really interesting. A good read, even if you're not a big fan of hers, I'd say. However, I know it hasn't been all great reviews. Some people have really not liked it, but I'd say go for it! |

I have it on my Wishlist. Growing up with her mother had to be difficult. She's the sort of celebrity people love to hate, but I find something very endearing about her - she's always come off pretty down-to-earth in the interviews I have seen.

I'm interested in reading it as well. I had this image of her being a totally spoiled rich brat and always felt she got the job on "90210" just because of who her father was. Then her t.v. reality show came out and i got hooked on watching it because that image i had of her was totally shattered when i saw how down to earth she was. It's funny to see her do things or talk about subjects that would probably horrify or embarrass the stuffy upper crust people she would normally be associated with. |

This book was very entertaining. She definately does not hold back and you do get to find out the inside scoop on her and her mother's weird relationship. She dishes about shannen doherty and talks about her previous marriage. I couldn't put it down. You really learn alot about her. |

I was never a 90210 fan, but got hooked on her reality show. The book was really interesting. I couldn't put it down and finished it in a weekend. She talks pretty openly about her first marriage and meeting Dean. I was pleasantly surprised! |

I just finished it as well. Boy, her mother sure is a piece of work! I hope she can find a happy life with Dean and her two kids. She deserves it. |

I wasn't a fan of hers but my daughter gave me the book to read and it was quite good. She didn't really lead the charmed life I thought she did. And that mother of hers...what a piece of work!! I glad she found Dean and is enjoying her life. |

I started this book yesterday....really liking it!! I had heard it was a good read, but knew I had to read it for myself to be sure. I really loved (still do love?) BH90210, so I have enjoyed reading the anecdotes about the set, etc. And I find myself laughing at her little one liners...I hope i continue to like it! |

I read this book when it first came out and I loved it. I never watched 90210 but did see some of her made for tv movies. I only started to watch Tori and Dean Inn Love after I read the book. I felt she was very honest about her life and really seemed to be very down to earth. If you have not read the book yet - Do it! it's a fun read, I didn't want it to end.

i loved the book and look at it like this compare her behavior (poor spoiled rich kid) to paris hilton and see which one you like better? tori is soooo sweet but never really mean- just not worldly...... paris on the other hand is paris- her own grandfather was so disgusted with her behavior he basically wrote her off..... |

I was very pleasantly surprised by this book! There was plenty of her trying to justify and live down her rich-girl life and prove that she has stepped out of her father's shadow, but she was very humorous and pragmatic about it, surpisingly. Just when I would start to roll my eyes and think "oh, please, I should have such problems!", she would write something like, "Oh, boo hoo, me. I know how riciculous that sounds" and I found that so refreshing. By the end of the book, I liked her as a person and thought she was very honest, down to earth and funny. I really enjoyed reading it. Last Edited on: 6/17/09 10:32 AM ET - Total times edited: 1 |
