A well-written, creative story about familial (early onset) Alzheimer's Disease. Familial AD runs in families and chances are good that if it's in yours, you will get this form of AD, and get it fairly young. This story weaves through time as a teen-aged boy tries to solve this "curse" his family has by trying to find out who his mother's ancestors are. A sad story, based on fact. The author has this form of AD in his family. Quite sad, to know that he could get this disease after writing this story so well.
