This short story reads somewhat like a National Geographic narration, accompanied by many photos and sketches rather than film. Even with these illustrations, this is not a children's picture book. While it is suitable for children, they probably won't understand the archaic language of 1896. An older child may enjoy it or use it for schoolwork reference, or an adult may simply enjoy the quick read.
