A wonderful book! This is the true story of the famous Trapp Family Singers, the family of the classic movie "The Sound of Music." If you thought "The Sound of Music" was good, this is ever so much better in every way! It's funny, delightful, and you won't be able to put it down until you finish it. It starts about the same place as the (somewhat innacurate) movie, but extends beyond and delves deeper into the Trapp family's expereinces, of how they became "The Trapp Family Singers," became American citizens, and finally established themselves at a 600 acre farm in Vermont.

Interesting read. Just shows how much Hollywood embellishes things beyond the real story.
