Author: Karen Hesse
It is known that in the summer of 1768, Captain James Cook sailed from England on H.M.S Endeavour, beginning a three-year voyage around the world on a secret mission to discover an unknown continent at the bottom of the globe. What is less known is that a boy by the name of Nicholas Young was a stowaway on that ship.

A good adventure stories, but a warning: about the middle of the book it gets INSANELY boring. The author was trying to stick close to reality. (She based the plot off of an actual voyage, thus there are really slow parts, like a typical sea voyage)
But if you can get through that part, the rest is better.

Caution: On page 83 of this book a native woman drops her lower clothing revealing her privey parts.

That might just be the worst of it. My thirteen year old son doesn't need it to get any deeper than that. Every parents different, but I thought some would at least appreciate the caution.
