I have tried to find and read everything by MRR and am nearing the end of her books. This one doesn't disappoint. Though her mysteries and Tish novels are more fun, this is indeed, a very interesting novel. I'm always amazed that these works were actually written in the early 20th Century! This saga of a woman's life in one of her best!
