Stevenson is one of my favorite writers and the only reason I posted this book is because I already have an edition of his complete short stories.
Stevenson's writing is filled with description, flavored by his Scottish heritage. It is a good sampling of late Victorian British literature.
I find his language eloquent, his characters interesting and his storylines intrigueing. I recommend all his works.
