I definitely think you're not in the right forum for this, but could you give an example or two of some books? I have never heard of street/ghetto fiction. What are some you've read? I was thinking maybe you would like "Twelve" by Nick McDonnell which is about some kids on the streets selling drugs, but I'm not sure: http://www.paperbackswap.com/book/details/9780802140128-Twelve

Like Heather said, you'd probably have better luck in a different forum, but Allison van Diepen has a couple you might like. You can also google phrases such as  street lit, urban fiction, hip-hop fiction & find some books that might interest you.

Hope this helps!
