How do people get ARC's??? Where do they come from orginally? I'd love to get advanced copies to review or even just read.

I run a little spa boutique and sometimes book publishers will send me an ARC to entice me to purchase the book for my store. Reviewers for the print and online media get ARCs, too.

Some of the publishers give them away to readers too.  Harper Collins has First Look and they give away a few ARCs every month.

I'm a freelance writer and I sometimes get ARCs from publishers. I usually turn them in to my editor when I am done, though.
