LOVE The series.. I devoured this book in a matter of a couple of sittings.

In this 3rd installment, There were several plotlines going on in this book: the main one being centered around strange dreams Georgie is having. She keeps waking up completely drained of her life energy. Upon trying to figure out what or who is causing all this chaos, we learn more about Erik and his so called friend: Dante. Theres also a few new Angels in this book also trying to solve the mystery of all the chaos in the city, but they are somehow linked to Georgina's vivid dreams. We also get to meet Tawny, G's new apprentice succubus, who is basically a walking dumb blonde joke. While Georgie's life is spinning out of control, her relationship with Seth finally meets it's breaking point. There was a few twists and turns at the end that i totally didnt see comming. And I cant wait to start the next book. I would say this is the strongest of the 3 Ive read so far.

If you like paranormal, romance, mystery, erotica, and action, this is a great series for a fan of all these genres. I will say this book can stand alone, but its better to read them in order to understand the backround info on all the characters. Well worth every penny to buy it in the book stores!

"What?!?
Where was my "sure thing?" I've loved this series, but near the end it took a turn. Without giving any spoilers away, I'm really disappointed in one of the main characters, and it changed how I felt about the book.
*sigh*"

While well written, I nearly stopped reading books by this author after this book. She gets you so engaged with her characters that when the author does something you don't agree with, it can be overly frustrating. I think Ms. Mead likes to toy with her readers.

I think this is the best in the series so far eventhough it is sad and the ending about tore my heart out. Georgina Kincaid is reluctantly mentoring another succubi who is totally clueless about seduction and hell, even men. An old enemy comes to town - the own who stole Georgina's soul - and causes all kinds of havoc in Georgina's love life. Even Nix - the arch demon of chaos - brings a special kind of hell to Seattle. Georgina sure can get into trouble. The quasi-relationship with Seth is both strange and endearing and when it goers bad, heart-wrenching. I can't wait for [book:Succubus Heat|5148720] to see where Georginia, Seth and Carter go from here.
