Watch out for Maggie Brown - the new next door neighbor! And beware of Maggie's homemade fudge!

One piece of the fudge makes you love animals. If you eat two pieces of fudge you will understand animal language. Three pieces make you act like an animal. And if you eat four pieces... HELP!

My 7 year old enjoyed this book-I did too! A nice story for animal lovers.

This is one of the many witches and magic books that Ruth Chew wrote. This is one of my favorites. I read it as a young child and I loved it. On the back cover it says: "Maggie is NOT an ordinary person. Her fudge is NOT ordinary fudge. Watch out for Maggie Brown--the new next door neighbor! And beware of Maggie's homemade fudge! One piece of the fudge makes you love animals. If you eat two pieces of fudge you will understand animal language. Three pieces make you act like an animal. And if you eat four pieces....HELP!"
