Just saw this on her website

Defective Copies of Sucker Bet

It has come to my attention that some copies of SUCKER BET are missing approximately thirty pages. If any readers have gotten one of these copies, please know that I understand your frustration—there’s nothing worse than getting into the heart of a story and being forced to stop! We’re truly sorry for this printing error, and please understand this was just that—a printing error. My publisher and I could not have foreseen or prevented this.

If you do have a defective copy, your bookstore should readily exchange it for you with a clean copy. If you’re unable to do this for whatever reason, please feel free to return the book to:

Berkley Publishing
Attn: Cindy Hwang, Executive Editor
375 Hudson St.
New York, NY 10014

You’ll receive a new copy of SUCKER BET direct from the publisher.

Thanks for your understanding and support!

Best, Erin

That happened to me with the book Mystic River. I was just about to find out what happened to the daughter and ????? I went from page 101 to 156. Not the exact page numbers but you get my meaning. Took the book back to the store and they gave me another copy but when that happened I almost felt panicky. It's never happened before or after so I really have nothing to complain about. As long as the store will replace your book for a complete one, that's good enough for me.
