A book I've been waiting for practically since I joined finally got posted into the system- I even bought a credit for it! Only to have the poster disappear while it expired. I could have cried. Anyway, I have an extra credit now and no real plans for what to do with it.

So, I thought perhaps you guys could suggest me a book on your shelf! I love character driven science fiction and fantasy, the occasional romance or mystery, though I haven't figured out a standard for what I like or what I won't on either of those yet, I seem to find out when I read it, or maybe a month or two after...

Or, hey, just take a look at my wishlist. A good third of it's for friends who haven't made their own accounts, but we generally share similar tastes.

I'm not looking for anything in particular, just something to soothe the little voice that keeps going "I almost had it. I almost...had...it...!" Any ideas?

I think I may have some books that fit your interests.  Check out my list and I will give you 2 for 1.
