Any book suggestions for godparent to give to 2 year old or 6 year old - thanks!

How about Eric Carle books.   At 2/3 my kids liked  A Very Hungry Caterpillar and A Very Busy Spider.    At 6/7 my kids both enjoyed Magic Treehouse books by Mary Pope Osborne
