Having already read a couple of books about Sultan Suleiman of the Ottoman Empire, I was impressed with the clarity and conciseness of this offering.  This book shows significant aspects of his reign and governorship.  He was a unique man and was able to take advantage of the world situation for his own gain. 
 
I particularly liked the way this author explained the Knights Hospitaller.  I did not realize that they originally were there in the Middle East to assist pilgrims to safely travel the roads in the Holy Land.

This is a quick read that will whet the reader's appetite for more information about this amazing ruler.
