Summer is for Lovers is a wonderfully fresh romance set in Brighton with a heroine who not only likes to swim, but it is integral to her character. Giving swimming lessons to her hero, David, lead to passionate lessons in desire. Caroline was the plain Jane with the swimmers' build who's sudden popularity was rather funny involving some unlikely marriage candidates. David was a fine hero suffering with misplaced guilt over a lost love. He tried his hardest to resist Caroline, but in the end they had their HEA. Enjoyable story and happily recommended at 4 stars.

I actually really enjoyed this book! About halfway through I realized that I could not put it down. Every now and then I want a romance novel, and this did the trick. It was everything I was looking for. Jennifer McQuiston is a wonderful author. I have enjoyed other books I've read by her as well.
