Young female attorney from New York makes a disastrous personal and professional mistake and moves to Georgia to start anew. Sounds like fish out of water chick lit, doesn't it, and that is how my wife described it to me, but it is more than that. It's a thoughtful novel, gracefully written for the most part, with excellent character development and dialog that was right on the mark. This is how people do sound, this is how people do talk, this is how situations do come about and evolve.

I believe this is the author's first novel, and I look forward to her next book.

I think anyone from the South, or who has ever been transplanted here, will enjoy this. However, if you've ever been to Macon then you'll smile and roll your eyes a lot! It was an enjoyable quick read. Not all that complicated but enjoyable!
