I love everything by D.E. Stevenson and this book was no exception. A wonderful story about an England long since gone. Characters you fall in love with and care about and hate to say goodbye to when the book ends. Wish she had written many more. Fix yourself a cup of tea and find yourself a comfortable chair and settle down for delightful time.
