I really liked this book. It is less graphic than the previous book in the series - which I consider a great improvement. It does a good job of saving some suprises for the end, and throws a few twists into the plot here and there.

Second of the Time travel type series. Clarke's Sci-Fi history and Baxter fabulous scientific descriptions make this a great descriptive read.
