buy fresh fruit.watermellon,cantalope,honey-dew,peaches(i like the white-flesh peaches)seedless tangerines,black cherries;pitted&halved,strawberries,blueberries(fresh or frozen),pine-apple,halved seedless grapes,kiwi and any other fresh fruits that you like.i wash and cut up the fruit into bite sized peices&mix them together,gently in a big bowl.i then add 1/2 cup of dryed flaked coconut and 1/2 cup(or more) of chopped walnuts or pecans.We make home-made jams&jellies,every fall. i take a tea-spoon to an 1/8th cup of home-made strawberry freezer jam and stir it to coat all fruits.the jam makes a nice light glaze on the salad.you can add more of the fruits you like &less of or omit undesireable ingredients. we make and eat this fruit salad on a regular basis. i hope someone else will enjoy it with their family!
