Tabitha King's prose is always lyrical and hypnotic, which makes her novels hard to put down. However, the protagonist's self-destructive streak rules her actions and her life, consequently putting her in hard situations. The novel is a good read, but only if you're in the mood for something dark and dramatic.

I enjoyed this book, took a bit to read it to get into it at first but, after that, it was good reading.
