I just got this in my email:

Ava's Story
I’ve received a ton of email from readers wanting to know when Ava’s story—the final episode in the Sisterhood Diaries Trilogy—will be out. I’ve put off responding because I quite honestly didn’t know how to say this:
There isn’t going to be a third book. After Poppy’s story the powers that be at HQN felt the series had run its course and didn’t believe it required the third book. Less than diplomatically my reaction was and is, “Are you bleeping nuts? You can’t just drop the third story in a trilogy—readers are going to feel betrayed!” But they were adamant about discontinuing it, so I gave them a proposal for Burning Up, a stand alone book. And that’s been going great. It’s about a big, sexy arson specialist turned small town fire chief and the video queen who comes home to the town that all but ran her out on a rail—and the sparks that ensue from the moment she hits the county line. It's rocking and I love it.
But I also yearn to tie up the Sisterhood Diaries saga. Ava deserves her day in the sun and I very much want to give it to her. If you, too, feel there will be a chunk missing from this series, please feel free to share any thoughts or comments you might have on the subject with my editor, who can be reached at avastory@susanandersen.com.
In the meantime I’m sorry to have left you hanging. I really, truly hope that I can turn this around and give you the final sister in the Sisterhood’s story.
All the best,
~ Susan

I've sent in a plea for Ava's story.  If you want it, maybe you'll send in one also!

Well, that seems stupid.  A trilogy means three books!  I have not read Bending the Rules yet but I will send something in when I do.

I'm reading Bending the Rules right now.  I can't see how you can't tell Ava's story!!  Maybe the powers that be at HQN need to find a dictionary for a definition of triology!!

Someone posted a thread about this yesterday. It's about 10 posts down.

I just got this from Susan Andersen.  Looks promising.  Keeping my fingers crossed.

Dear Kelley,

Because of all the emails you readers wrote, my publisher has agreed to see a new proposal for Ava's story. I'm hoping it will be the book out after Burning Up.
Thanks so much for taking the time to send your thoughts to my editor. It made a difference.

All best,

Despite the whole trilogy debacle I feel like Ava has to have her story told, in the last book, Bending the Rules, the ground was layed out for her story. I think her story should be told to wrap up the storyline as a whole otherwise when readers re-read the other two books they will feel like something is missing. And another thing, if HQN just backed out of allowing Ava's story to be told that's a betrayal as far as I'm concerned, everyone I know who has read these books couldn't wait for Ava's story to come out, because they felt like they've gotten to know her throughout the rest of the series and now HQN just decided to yank out the rug from underneath the loyal readers, it's just not right.

I read Bending the Rules a few weeks ago and was asking if anyone knew which book was Ava's. heck poor Ava was the one who'd really suffered and now she gets screwed out of a HEA? well she should just do a free ebook if they won't to Ava's story..

Hey I loved the first two books and am really lukin forward to reading Ava's story. So please write it as a trilogy cannot be complete without three books. Also as the ground

has already been laid for her story in the second book it should be written. Please consider all ur fans' requests and write Ava's story.
