What is this author like? I was thinking about ordering a book by another author through FIFO and that person's shelf had 2 books by this author that sounded interesting. So far I've stuck with light / funny-light/ romantic light paranormal. I think the most serious Ive read were Rhyannon Byrd's blood runners from silhouette norcturne. I don't like too intense with lots of fighting or too much anguish. Would these be a pretty safe bet? I see she has several series ' roaring 20s' and 'historical'..I'm assuming they should be read in order? any author similar perhaps?

I'm currently reading the series by Kerrelyn Sparks which are funny and pretty light...I've enjoyed Kathy Love's Young Brothers and the  new series she started..and Accidental Werewolf which was funny but I don't think Krinard's are funny at least not from the description...

well, for me she is a hit and miss author. i have read some of hers that were worth the credit  but for me, most werent. of course this is my

opinion and others may not share it. but honestley, i dont think i have ever read a krinard book that was as good as the bloodrunners.

Definitely hit and miss.  Her first books, back before paranormals made it big, made a big impression on me.  I'm not finishing many of her recent ones.  And for me, that is very unusual.  Something is just no longer there.  Maybe she changed editors?  Some writers need a tough editor.  Maybe there are just more choices?

Emily do you remember which ones were good? the historical werewolves sound interesting to me but I don't want to waste time on an icky book I have WAY too many books to read and not enough time to get to them all as it is!

Touch of the Wolf

Once a Wolf

Secret of the Wolf are a trilogy set about 2 brothers and their sister.

They're a good historical paranormal romance reads.

Hope this helps.

Also The Forest Lord, and Lord of the Beasts are an interesting fairy reading.

Marion, glad to hear it.  I wasn't too impressed with the 2nd in the series. I enjoyed #1 and #4, though.

I'd check which publisher the book is under.  Several of her recent Harlequin and Lunas have disapointed me.  The earlier ones are under other publishers, Berkeley and Bantam.

I liked all the wolf ones.   I read one of her vamp ones and she really needs to stay away from vamps.  It was awful.
