Hi, I don't know where else to post this, but I have a Swap-A-DVD question... I wouldn't mind being a member, but I don't have anywhere near 10 DVD's to post. I only have 3 or maybe 4 movies, including a wishlisted movie that DH bought just last night. Do I have to post ten movies before my account is considered "active" (or whatever) or can I just get away with posting the few I do have? Also, a few years ago Pizza Hut was giving away DVD movies with pizza orders. We acquired a copy of Mr. Mom this way, but it was in a paper sleeve and not the hard plastic clamshell box. We have since found a plastic box to put it in, but it doesn't have the pretty cover art on the front. Is this considered post-able? Thanks! |

I haven't posted any DVDs yet, and my account works just fine (I've requested a few). You'll be fine. I don't think the Pizza Hut DVDs would be considered postable, but you could probably post them in the DVD bazaar and ask for a credit for them that way.

You don't have to post all 10 at once. I still have one more to go, but out of the ones i posted some were already requested from me so i was able to get some credits. : ) You can also buy credits too, and now i saw you can transfer credits between your account in swap dvd, swapcd and pbs which is pretty cool. For every one swap dvd credit you get 2 credits for pbs or swapcd. I don't think the Pizza hut dvd's are allowed, but i would ask them over at swap dvd. Hope this helps Barbara |

Regarding the Pizza Hut DVDs -- all DVDs must have a UPC in order to be posted. If there was a UPC on the original cardboard sleeve, then you could post it and ship it with that sleeve. If you've discarded the sleeve, then your only option is the Bazaar. Come on in, the water is warm! |
