My impression is that swapping is slowing down. I know there was a flurry of requests just before the fees started. Maybe it's going to take a while for requests to pick up again. I know I have started thinking about the library in town.

Well, I've only gotten one request since 14th, but had a flurry the 3rd-13th so since lots of people swapped books beginning of the month, a slowdown is expected, especially since ala carte members now have to pay a fee for each book request.

Not for me.  More request and more wishes granted.  Put my account on hold until I could catch up.

I haven't had any WL books offered to me since Feb 5.  I had my account on hold for 2 days that weekend, but haven't had it on hold since & haven't had any offers again.

I've had quite a few wish lists granted this week. I have a bunch of wishlist books to officially post but waited because of the storm. Whenever the bad weather goes away, I will get them in the system.

I also ordered a bunch of available books that were on my reminder list so I've been getting lots of books in the mail.

I have only had 4 wishes granted in 2015.  Last year I had about 20 by now.

I mailed nine books out today. At one time, last week I believe, I had 16 under "Books I mailed."

I haven't had hardly any WL books posted. I've had 1 since mid January and I'm #1 on the list for 61 out of my 230 WL books. I was hoping for a few more than just 1.

I thought that swaps were slowing down for the past year or so. Book price versus eBook price. There was a sudden flurry before the shift.

Mailed out 7 today and have 12 on their way to me so I haven't seen much effect. Actually, I did post some WL books FIFO a few days ago and all of them were instantly requested, which is something that hasn't happened in ages...previously they seemed to roll thru several members before they were requested, so I was pleased to see that change!

I seldom get books offered through FIFO anymore. I also have thought it's slowed way down the past year or so.

I've mailed out an obscene number of books in the past week- lol! Truly. I'm still getting at least a request or two daily. I think I've received three WL offers in the past week as well. So I guess I've seen the opposite. The true test will be about 6 months from now, when people have had more of a chance to finish spending off their surplus credits. If everyone "stops posting books until I get some books off of my WL", then nothing will move. Sure- I'll have to sell off some credits for the next several months, but I'm ok with that.

I have had three requests since I took my bookshelf off hold on 02-15-15.

But as before there are no wishlisted books coming my way.  Judging by the comments here, I had hoped for at least the ones I am number one, but no such luck.  I had very few WL offers on my small WL last year and it seems that this year is not much better.

I envy all of you that actually get their book wishes granted.  I guess the book fairy does not come to my house.

Unfortunately I don't have any WL books to post yet.  I am trying to read as quickly as I can but being a student now, I don't have as much time to read.  Hopefully I can get some books posted soon though to help move some of the WL lines!

I had a few WL books offered to me.  More than I had in a few months prior.  Don't know if that's a fluke or a sign.  Maybe all the mails made people remember the site? :)

I get most of my WL books in games. My shelf just has a few older books and I don't want anymore credits so haven't added any WLed for a while.

I have had five WL books offered to me this week, which is a very high number for me.

I have gotten a couple of WL books.  I have mailed out maybe 3-4 books from the time the change was announced to now.  I very seldom get books requests.

Four days since fees started.  Unless you were getting request daily before there has hardly been enough time to say it has slowed down.

I've gotten several WL books since the fee announcement. Some people may also be conserving credits. With 200 extra WL spots (had 300 as gold key) that increases the odds of getting more books so a lot of folks may want to make sure they have credits on hand. Before the fee change I would regularly review the books that were posted daily to see if there were any I might want to order but with the bigger wishlist I need to save some credits up. Also, with the influx of books received I'm backlogged and don't want to order additional books until I have a chance to catch up on my reading and post some books. There's only so much room in the house. I image others are having some of the same issues. :)

I haven't noticed a slow-down.  I have actually had a lot of WL books offered to me FIFO this week!

I had 2 offered right before the change, and 2 offered right after the change. I've also posted a couple of WL books. I mailed one out yesterday and I have one on 48 hour hold. I'm pretty sure that it will roll over to the next person. (I checked and the person hasn't logged into PBS since late September)
