Silly little book of fluff....definitely does not portray true Southern ladies, as the use of the F-word was tiring. Really, can't authors and screen writers get through a book or movie without peppering that word throughout?

Cute and funny story! This is a fictionalized telling of how Jill Conner Browne's group, The Sweet Potato Queens, was begun. A must read, especially for Southern gals!

I enjoyed this book immensely. I found myself laughing out loud and rooting for and even feeling sorry for the main characters. A great read if you want to remember what it feels like to have the type of friends that are there for you no matter what, no matter how far away. Definitely worth the wait on the WL.

Funny, but not as good as her previous books. The others made me laugh out loud...but this one, not so much.

I loved this book. It was very funny and almost convinced me to be a "Sweet Potato Queen Wannabe". You never know, I might be in the parade some day! I just received The Sweet Potato Queens' Guide to Life and am eager to read it!

This is one of those books like The Divine Secrets of the Ya-Ya Sisterhood is, where you root for the heroines and revel in the sense of camaraderie and friendship. You also laugh your big ass off, too. Theres plenty of that.
