The patterns in this book are very well charted, in color, though Lori doesn't use symbols at all. This might be a little problematic if you have a hard time distinguishing color differences. There are very few half or quarter stitches making this a fairly easy book for those who are just learning to cross stitch. The finished patterns are cute, but would be probably more suitable for decorating a child's or "tween" or teens room since the patterns are mostly brights and pastels and the characters highly stylized. The pictures are adorable though. The teddy bears hanging on a wash line pattern is especially cute. Their are angels and garden patterns and lots of cute sayings.
