I have just finished reading  "Something Shady" by Pamela Morsi. The male love interest in the story, Mikolai Stefanski is not your typical  lover/hero. He is a sweet, accomplished Polish immigrant who is now a wealthy businessman, but he is still an humble man. I have to say that I think he is one of the most memorable heroes/love interests I have ever read about. Has anyone else read this book?  What did you think about Mikolai? For anyone who has read Pamela Morsi's books, is this the kind of male lover/hero that she writes about?

Who would you say is your most memorable heroe in a book?

The Hero in Laura Kinsale's Flowers in the Storm is my most memorable.  I just love the hard to understand ones!  Also, I have a really soft spot in my heart for the Hero in The Leopard Prince by E. Hoyt.  I love the stories that have to deal with falling in love above their station.

Well, I have lots of these, but the one that pops immedately to mind is Michael from Wild At Heart by Patricia Gaffney.  He is just amazing & such an original.  I've run across a lot of great heroes, but he's one of the coolest and most memorable.
