I just read it, assuming it was, and when I finished, I thought, ya know, no young adult wants to read about an 11 year old, and it's too advanced for somebody 10 or under.

Is it a YA book? Or did I just assume it was? Is it just a regular 'adult' mystery whose protagonist happens to be 11?

I work at a bookstore, and our system classifies that book as a Adult Mystery Thriller.

I looked at the description and it didn't sound YA to me.  That's odd that the hero of the book is 11 though!

Amazon also classifies it as Mystery, Thriller.  Not YA.
