My husband convinced me to read this. There were so many things that seemed to be just shy of plagarism in this book. To this day I still find myself mixing passages from each book in my memory.
Couldn't get through it. Managed about 100 pages because a coworker loves it, but could not get into it. I'm not a big fan of tradition fantasy, though, (couldn't get through any Robert Jordan's either) so that may have something to do with it.
One of THE best fantasy series I have ever read!
This book was fun, i enjoy fantasy. I have to admit that many of the plot elements were taken from Tolkien's Lord of the Ring
Just wanted to note that this is an abridged version.
