The second book in the acclaimed Symphony Trilogy by Calvin Miller.
With eloquent narrative and moving symbolism, Calvin Miller captures the emotion and drama of a young betrothed couple whose plans for domestic happiness are shaken by the intrusion of cosmic purposes. Miller's rich allegorical language touches every nerve.
. The young heroine's initial disbelief of an astounding prophecy
. her suitor's swelling doubts about her faithfulness
. the groan of the earth as it awaits the pivotal choice of an ordinary mortal
. the behind-the-scenes contention between the forces of good and evil

A Symphony In the Sand is a literary adventure in the tradition of Paradise Lost. Compelling reading, pure enjoyment.

In this sequel to "A Requiem for Love", Miller uses the same beautiful poetic and lyrical writing to write about the events that transpired between "Earthmaker" and Mary and Joseph figures. Along with Slithe's interference to confuse and anger these characters. A lovely piece that puts one in a place to comprehend what these biblical figures may have went through.
