It was okay, I thought...not what I would call spectacular, but as cozies go, it was decent. I prefer the author's other series, but then it is less cozy than this one. LOL I was disappointed that she stopped the other series to write this one, much as I like tattoos. I also understand that there are some errors in the book as far as the tattooing/tattoo shop procedures and such, according to a couple of tattoo artists I know who have read it.
